Ketotifen Tablets Now Available Again

Update on March 25, 2026:  Though Ketotifen tablets were restocked at Alloga (the distributor) in February, there was a communication glitch between Alloga and the wholesalers that has meant that many pharmacies did not know that they had been restocked.  Through the intervention of the Department of Health and Social Care at our request, Alliance (large wholesaler) has now placed an order and supplies should be available by the end of this week.

Any time the wholesalers don’t have stock, it can be helpful to ask your pharmacist to order directly from Alloga in case the wholesalers are the problem.  Your pharmacy can order from Alloga and ask to be invoiced by their preferred wholesaler, a route that is easy for the pharmacy and therefore more likely to be successful.  Some pharmacies may need some encouragement to be willing to try this route.
