Successful fundraisers – their stories
The Hedley family took a brave step and planned a skydiving fundraiser. Sandra Hedley and Jess Hedley are grandmother and aunt to mastocytosis patient, Olivia. Jess and Sandra booked their skydive, and used the platform BTMyDonate to collect donations from their family and friends. So far they have raised an amazing £1339 as of January 2018. Read about their adventures here.
Our long-time member, Helen, held a coffee morning in her local church hall and raised an astounding £714 pounds. Local businesses and friends provided more than 40 raffles, treats for the tombola, a bric-a-brac table, bacon butties, as well as home-baked cakes and jams.
Dawn Brogden, whose son Dylan has mastocytosis, has climbed mountains, and swum lakes to raise funds for the charity. In June 2018 she is jumping from 15,000 feet! This brave plunge has raised more than £2000 already! Click here to donate
Michael Fekete, whose wife has mast cell activation syndrome, cycled 1,000 miles to raise money for the charity. Through the generosity of his friends and family, Michael raised £1505 pounds. Read about his adventure here.
