We are holding our 2019 Annual General Meeting and Conference at the Hilton Manchester Airport Hotel on Saturday 25th January 2020.
Our featured speaker will be Dr Frank Siebenhaar, a leading international expert on mast cells and who sees patients as an allergist/dermatologist. Prof. Siebenhaar’s research focuses on the biology of mast cells and the pathophysiology of mast cell driven diseases. He has made numerous contributions to the understanding of the role of mast cells in the pathogenesis of chronic inflammatory disorders as well as in the protection from infections and tumors. He will be speaking about how mast cell medications work and about what’s new on the medication horizon.
We will also hear an update from Dr Deepti Radia, from Guy’s Hospital on the ongoing UK trials in Mastocytosis.
We look forward to our first interactive Workshop on Living with Mast Cell Diseases where our members will have the chance to share their own experiences and learn from others. And we’ll have breakout sessions for groups of patients, plus our popular, “How do I use my EpiPen?” session.
We will also be holding our 2019 AGM and look forward to updating you on what we’ve been up to!
